I am running into the same problem with both hosted and self-hosted applications. This exception seems to be raised from a task over which I have no control, so I can't catch the exception. Anybody know any workarounds, or will this take a NSB code change to fix?

We need to fix it in our code.

Agreed. I spent all afternoon trying to facilitate a cleaner shutdown by ignoring the exception ... played with

Application.ThreadException / Application.SetUnhandledExceptionMode
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException
TaskScheduler.UnobservedTaskException

and none of them were able to capture the exception that was thrown.
