Thanks for the report. Yes that is indeed a bug we already picked up on and that will be fixed in the next version (per commit 8738e7a).
If you wanna test the next version before it's release, you can find some ALPHA executables in the artifacts from https://github.com/pbatard/rufus/actions/runs/8457250958.
Since I expect testing with the ALPHA will fix your problem, I will close this issue, but if that is not the case, please report back here.

Thanks, the alpha worked and the drive booted fine, though I got this error as the flashing was finishing Read error: [0x0000001B] The drive cannot find the sector requested., not sure if it's related or something else in the alpha.
