Ok I have to admit i guess the latest version of this plugin just isn't as easily implementable as i thought with authlogic. I stumbled upon another problem. The :login_or_oauth_required before_filter calls "verify_oauth_signature" and even if there is no oauth request what so ever it resets @current_user thus also letting the login_required before filter fail. This seems like another requirement to make this work with authlogic.

eum, overriding this function in your application controller and removing that line is a requirement
from oauth-plugin.
