@davidbau Hello,I am familiar with javascript and nodejs framework. Is someone already working on this issue?

I don't think anybody is currently working on this issue - a pull request
in this area would be really helpful!

@davidbau I'll start working on this and convert them to callback style.

@davidbau ,Can this be a possible gsoc project because I think that lot of refactoring needs to be done on server side and many constructs in code are not efficiently written, so I think I can convert the synchronous style code to async,so can we discuss this?

Hi Raghav - it's a nice little project but probably not big enough for a
GSoC project. We get very few GSoC slots each year, and in the past
they've gone to more impactful projects. If bundled together with a
proposal to do a bunch of other similar cleanup things, it might be a good
project.

Thanks @davidbau for guiding me.I'll try to see if there are other things that can be done in this project or else I'll take some project from project ideas page
from pencilcode.
@davidbau as you told that similar cleanup things could be done so just can we discuss two or three things, so that you can tell whether they are good or not?
from pencilcode.
Sure, you can propose some, or I can probably think of some ideas.
However, I still wonder if it would be a more fun summer to have one "main
project" that you're working on - something nice and visible.

@davidbau ,I was thinking of migrating whole server side code to a stable version of node as many existing functions are deprecated and changing the grunt to gulp for automating tasks and also changing of synchronous to async file operations,or if you could add some ideas.Otherwise I can take this as a side project and take some project from project ideas page that interests me
