I didn't test it but I suspect that the error is happening because you are using the escaped string E'...' , see here:

I think you have to replace the ''_'' by \'_\'. The escaped string in comments is the default behavior but it can be toggled in general settings.

Escaping is the sole responsibility of the app. It did that correctly in this case - replacing original single quote with two single quotes.

The generated SQL form is gibberish (see "ON IS") - it left out the table name (which is mandated by the spec).

You're right. I didn't notice the absence of a table name after the ON keyword.
