I asked myself the same question at beginning.
Because BlUniverse is a singleton, i chose to not referencing it in other objects to avoid issues and probably memory leaks when the Universe is reset. BlUniverse default can be and is mainly used in contexts where no element|space is reachable.
So, i agree to eliminate direct use of BlUniverse default if possible but referencing it in BlSpace does not seem to be the solution.
