Even though the behavior is incorrect on your particular situation, it is intented behavior and implemented like this in Keepass 2 on Windows as well. The reasoning is that a login usually consists of multiple fields (e.g. Username + Password) and it does not make sense to mix these from different versions of an entry. So I will keep the behavior as it is.

that's really bad tbh.
i can definitely understand a username or password has changed it can be viewed as one, but urls and notes should be separate, you should be able to detect when external changes have been made between the old version the app has, and the new version the app wants to save, and at least ask the user something in this case
simply overwriting a complete entry despite external changes is definitely a no-go for me.
will check if same behavior on keepass2, keepassxc and keeweb, and if so also post the issue there
