Attributes should be configurable, but a good default:

• data-text used to set textContent.
• data-href used to set provided attribute from whitelist of available attributes (src, alt, title, etc.).

The data from the database will be provided directly (or transformed via a data provider) to the inject data method in question. The data-* attributes will match the keys of the data source. The matching values will be used to populate the matching attributes.

This is a very useful feaeture, but it is not part of the DOM spec, so should be handled by its own repository.
