Thanks for the report, unfortunately I cannot reproduce it on my Samsung Glaxy S2 with Android 4.1. Might be Android 4.3 specific, I will see if I can test that, I should have a device with 4.3 available soon.

I can not reproduce this on a Nexus 7 with android 4.3. Any chance you can submit a crash report? If you install this app from the play store Android should offer you to submit a crash report.

Is it possible that this is related to #5 , or does the app really crash directly on start?

Thanks for your help.

I have released a new version 1.3.7 which fixes #5, can you please test if this fixes also your issue?

Otherwise I can absolutely not reproduce your bug. It might be a Android 4.3 bug which was already patched on my device. A stack trace would probably help me to implement a fix or workaround.

Still the same problem with 1.3.7. Confirmed on Nexus 4 (Android 4.3) and Nexus 10 (Android 4.3). I've just sent a crash report from the Nexus 4, hope you can figure it out ;)

I still cannot reproduce the bug, and I wonder why this never was reported before. But I've just released version 1.3.8 which should fix it. Thanks for the crash report, without it I would have not been able to fix it.

As I could not really test it myself please let me know if there are still problems.

The app still crashed after the update. But I finally found some time to have a look at it and sent you a pull request. Actually the getAction() returned a null-string and triggered the exception. Don't really know if the check for intent != null is still necessary then.
Now it's working on my devices :) Thanks for you effort.

Cool, thanks for the patch. That makes much more sense then the intent being null. But let's leave that check there for safety.

I still don't know how to reproduce this with appsi, but some launchers allow you to specify shortcuts to specific activities. That's one example on how one can trigger this bug.
