i also meet the same issue. I tried to get the branch beagle-eclair.

I tried to get as repo init -u git://gitorious.org/0xdroid/manifest.git -b 
beagle-eclair.
But I also have this issue, can't sync out.
The message as below.
root@ubuntu:~/Devkit8000# repo sync
