Hum... That was from a change I made recently, but it should indeed be part of utils.py. My latest modification there was the commit 6c4f508#datatableview/utils.py . I've been using the datatableview without trouble on the checklist branch.

Yeah - not sure that it's required. But if it's not used then we need to strip the called method out. There was no issue with it being gone but your code is calling it - PyCharm alerted me to the error.

I guess I'm confused about something then :) The function is used internally in utils and again in views. I thought the original issue was that resolve_orm_path was a call to an undefined function?

The new function factors out a couple repeated lines of logic from the two files.

Hey Tim,

Look at L: 158 of datatables.views it is calling resolve_orm_path. According to L:14 it's coming from datatables.utils. It's not in datatables.utils...
