That seems like a nice addition. I'd like build it on top of the numeric2
work and the tests refactor, as a separate PR. If the numeric stuff is ready, we could merge that to master, then I could apply the tests refactor. You could even start the non-aggregate functions now if you don't mind rebasing on the tests refactor later. I think that commit is ready to go but tonight I'm holding a baby. :-)

I've been working on support for this in a feature/tuple-math branch, however I just discovered this appears to duplicate your floatvec extension? Would it be better to just submit a PR to that repo for NUMERIC
support, or did you want to merge that work into this one?
