Also, this new function should only return a partitioned image, not a tuple of lots of things like it does now
Prof. is there any specific reason we don't need a tuple with lots of things? I like the way it currently returns the output because let's say if a user wants to perform network extraction manually for some reason such as if he is dealt with defining boundary pores of curved geometries then he can use this function things directly. Moreover, if we don't hide extract_pore_network it can be used to perform network extraction manually.
My whole idea is to keep the manual way of performing network extraction as well.
