I considered it with the logs refactoring in the earlier v0.20.0 release but decided against it as I wasn't sure how useful that would be.

Even if we add a log creation route it will be allowed only for admins/superusers, which I'm not sure whether it will work in your case.

If there is enough users demand for this I may reconsider it but for now this remains out of the scope for v1.

I forgot to mention that when extending PocketBase you can call the logger via:

• JSVM: https://pocketbase.io/docs/js-logging/

Only the logs that satisfy the configured min log level (Admin UI > Logs > Logs settings) will be stored in the logs db (by default 0+, aka. info, warn, error, etc.).

That's actually what i wanted in my specific case. But i do see why many people would not use it. My current project has 3 parts to it.

1. DiscordBot
2. PocketBase
3. FrontEnd

When my discord bot get's an error or i need to log things i use to use DataDog to send all my logs for the DiscordBot. So what i'm currently doing is creating a route /POST logs and in the route i call pocket bases internal logger.
