It would be good to upgrade the puppeteer version, but I'm not likely to be able to get around to doing it myself. So help on this would be welcome - open to PRs on this.

We are waiting for an update.
When I download Penthouse, I get a warning:
npm WARN deprecated [email protected]: Version no longer supported. Upgrade to @latest
At the time of writing my comment, 17.1.3 is the latest Puppeteer version. Version 2.1.1 released February 2020.

works for me too with latest puppeteer (19.x). I published @hokify/penthouse in the meantime with puppeteer 19.x and the fix here #349
