This issue has been resolved in our stack after migrating to >=0.20.30. Without a good understanding of what fix resolved it, this issue can also be resolved by turning off comm_subplan_elim. Reviewing the query plan in details, in the concat of the same query plan + ~100 different group_by keys, only 1 of the group_by keys has this problem:

# correct optimization
col("gross_value").filter(col("__POLARS_CSER_7324435498529964525")).sum()
# incorrect
col("gross_value").filter(col("__POLARS_CSER_7324435498529964525")).rolling_min().rolling_min()

We are glad that one of the commits fixed this issue eventually (based on a week of observations). Closing this issue for now.
