Same Issue
I can confirm that I see the same error message when requesting
- the same block (
5482732
) - and while also connected to
Westend Asset Hub
either by :
- using polkadot js apps (RPC call
chain
> getBlock) - or Sidecar (endpoint
blocks/5482732
)
Findings / Thoughts
This error message is triggered here so the call missing is in section
= 5
and is the method
with index 69
right ? Based on the docs, the section
signifies the pallet
of the extrinsic but in Westend Asset Hub I do not see any pallet with index 5
🤔. Maybe I am missing something.
Any ideas which method/call is causing the issue ?
Reproducing the error with pjs
Trying to reproduce the same error with pjs. After running this github gist code the error returned is the same as above

and the line where the code breaks is (the getBlock
call for the specific blockHash
) :
const signedBlock = await api.rpc.chain.getBlock(blockHash);
