The regular expressions in postal.configuration.resolver.compare() fail to compare "something.*" with "something.a-a" or "something.a_a".

@mvbschot The updated bindings resolver was set up to match the "AMQP" style topic & wildcard rules. So technically it's an 'intended restriction' but I'm not opposed to loosening it. Bear with me as I'm tackling some other issues - I'll give this some thought and ping this thread again once I've had time to assess the impact of any changes.

@Soesah which version of Postal are you using? The latest version of Postal (0.8.4) gives me the following output:
> postal.configuration.resolver.compare( "something.*", "something.a-a" )
true
> postal.configuration.resolver.compare( "something.*", "something.a_a" )
true
from postal.js.
From the top of my head we're on 0.8.2.

I think Jim tightened up the matching in 0.8.3, then we adjusted (loosened) it in 0.8.4. Try using the latest version and see if it fixes your issue.

Allright, thanks, we'll try that.

@Soesah - let me know if 0.8.4 has what you need....thanks!

bumping this to se if things are working OK for @Soesah?

@ifandelse We worked around the problem and I haven't checked. I'll take your word for it.
