About the license; as far as my understanding goes, it allows (non-commercial) internal usage in companies (as you are doing with your colleagues); e.g., obtaining insights, checking your raw data quality, your processing quality, etc...
Of course, the license also allows research usage and educational usage!

But I believe it does not allow creating commercial end-applications (for customers).

FYI: I'm still lobbying with my manager for adding the MIT license 🙏
