well, i think because it is just referencing to a RemoteCommand, which simply does not exist in that package under that specific path. But i guess it shouldnt then

Ok, so you can have a look at the link I attached above, and you'll also realize that particular "problem" you mentionned is everywhere in the taglib, don't mix up type and class (I know it's very confusing...) The info that you're looking for is in the faces-config.xml, that's where the component type is bound to the class
