I can't reproduce your issue. But when testing I noticed some bug in --skip behavior.

Do you run it in Windows? If yes then post screenshots of the folder with your mp4 files and screenshot of console when you have the issue.

Ok will do that when my power returns. At first I thought it was because there are spaces in the filenames but then the mkv files also have spaces. Granted I didn't test this on any other set of mp4 files so it may just be this particular show. Odd that it works by specifying the episode name though.

Works with spaces too. What if you remove --skip?

Btw, short for --verbose is -v.

I finally figured it out. --skip was fine.

The problem was that the (immediate) parent folder name ended with a ]. The folder could have this character anywhere else except at the end. Threw a frothy.

Oddly enough, the filenames contained brackets but obviously ended with 4 (mp4).

So not sure if this is a bug worth investigating or it is what it is. Thanks for helping me.
