Are you setting jinja2.i18n.domain properly? There is some demo code in the source repo that uses the {% trans %} tags. Perhaps you can confirm that it works or doesn't work for you?

Yup it worked, sorry about i'm probably doing something else wrong on my side. Could it be cause that i'm committing my config after including pyramid_jinja2 ?

Can you give any details on what's different between the demo and what you're doing?

Oki that's super strange but i've found the issue. We were using historically a package named pyramid-admin (https://github.com/appetito/pyramid_admin) and it seems that whenever are enabling it by loading the pyramid extension, the jinja2 translation in the templates didn't worked. Since we don't need pyramid-admin anymore i'll just disable it :)

It looks like pyramid_admin is actually overriding the default translation domain to "pyramid_admin", which is no good.
