Hi,
Which packages are you referring to that are not compatible with Python 3?

I should also say, thanks for the note! I hope this helps others in a similar position.
But, we cannot guarantee that the package will continue to be compatible with Python 2 for any appreciable period of time, and we recommend users of Python 2 to upgrade as soon as possible... While most of the code should be compatible, the tests are not run on python 2. Because of some of the simple changes made between versions (like the change in division from floor division to float division), there may be subtle errors that creep in as the package continues to not be tested in Python 2. Python 3 will be tested for a long time, and will have the correct behavior.
