If there is any way you can hook into [General > Appearance > Colors and 
Fonts], it would be really great.

I have colors setup for my Java (Android) environment that use a dark 
background color and it doesn't work out so well in GoClipse since there seems 
to be text that is hardcoded to be #000000 and the other color settings have to 
be set manually even though I've already set them up in the "Colors and Fonts" 
area.

+1 for using theme colours.  I use http://eclipsecolorthemes.org/ with a dark 
theme and goclipse's defaults are unreadable.

I committed a change so we'll play better with the eclipsecolorthemes plugin, 
although for full support we'll need them to merge in a github pull request: 
https://github.com/eclipse-color-theme/eclipse-color-theme/pull/102. It doesn't 
seem like the project's very active - there are 2 other pull requests that've 
been open for ~2 months.
