Ah I see, I had missed that we were trying to push more than just tags...
Some comments wouldn't go amiss in the release script.

Do you plan a rc4? I think it would be useful as it is impossible to deploy rc3 on a real system without a lot of manual work that makes the test not very representative... If you do one, I could try to deploy it this evening...

Built, now hunting a problem where the release doesn't leave behind RPMs with the correct name.
It seems to upload to maven properly, but what is left on the build box is 14.5.0-rc5_SNAPSHOT20140604125242 instead of 14.5.0-rc4 so something is happening in the wrong order?
This only appears to affect the configuration-modules-* repositories.
