Definitely not a problem with Rack itself, as Rack does not use dry-types.

Thanks for the response, @dentarg and @jeremyevans. I'm just talking about the initial test as instructed by the readme.

I installed ruby, rack, and tried to rackup.

$ gem install rack rack-session rackup
$ rackup

I'm not very experienced in ruby, so maybe you might give me some insight as to why the basic instructions threw me this error? Installed on Ubuntu 20.04.

Does your config.ru file contain the following, as the README instructs?:

run do |env|
  [200, {}, ["Hello World"]]
end

Yes, and that works on its own. It's clearly not an issue with Rack. Thank you for your answers.
