unfortunately not, thanks for the offer though :) So it's working for you? I'l try adding some debug statements to the rails.js code to see if I can track down where it's (silently) failing

i have the same situation, after debugging rails.js i see what all triggers was firing correctly, but bindings didn't fire

Just pushed big changes to rails.js. There were specific fixes for the way you tried to use "ajax:beforeSend". Please update, test it out and report back if you find more issues. Be sure to include your browser info and jQuery version.

I've updated rails.js and tested - everything works fine.
Was tested into following browsers: firefox 3.6.13, chrome 8.0.552 with jquery 1.4.4.

- What do you mean that they are being included? It is fine if they are included in `Gem.loaded_specs`, the real issue is if they are being _required_.
