Is this a publicly-accessible site? If so, do you have a URL?
Also, are you using the absolute latest and greatest rails.js? It's been updated a lot in the last couple days. If so, which lines specifically are you commenting out to make it stop crashing? Is there some other plugin that may be activated or used on that page only?

unfortunately its not. But i am trying to debug to isolate the problem and will post soon.

Is this still an issue? Please try to reproduce with latest rails.js and jQuery 1.4.4 and 1.5
If there is no solid evidence that rails.js is crashing IE, I'll have to close this as invalid

I will try with 1.5 and let you know

Hey, did you have any luck with this? Also, I was wondering if you could say what exactly you mean by crashing. Like is it throwing a javascript error when the page loads? Causing a remote form or link not to submit? Also, which lines exactly did you comment out? The lines of the functions, or the lines that bind elements to the functions (at the bottom of rails.js)? Or both?

I am closing this issue as part of regular clean up. Please report any new findings and this ticket could be re-opend.
