This bug cannot be reproduced. Activations are successfully deleted from db
However, in model.php line 55 we are deleting the events related to the
activation before deleting the activation itself.
The activation record will be deleted in the superclass at line 60.
The suggested change would delete the wrong events.
Please give more details to reproduce this bug.
At the moment, will be closed as invalid.

We were unable to reproduce the error due to our configuration.
Now the bug has been identified.
This error was due to the field "activation_id" that was missing in the events
table.
Has been fixed in backend v 2.1.
