@bluebill1049 No, it's not working. Please check codesandbox I provided. formState.isValid always return true, even if required checkbox is not checked

thanks for validating. i am busy with the V4 stuff didn't get chance to validate myself. reason type="checkbox" will break RHF, because RHF will treat it as Input checkbox which is really not the case. as an alternative solution for now: to get your stuff working is to trigger a validation in useEffect, until i figure something out.
