will be glad to give you early feedback. if this will superseed the platform-core eventing, i am also especially interested how/when(2.3?) events-push will adapt.
from reactor.
I'll do a more complete reply later but:
- 2.3 is the target, specifically 2.3 M2 in June
- events-push should be quickly adapted (and will be probably moved as a
reactor module + renamed reactor-atmosphere) - events-si will need more investigation (and will be probably moved as a
reactor module + renamed reactor-si) - others considerations discussed by the team : reactor-netty-websockets,
reactor-jetty-websocket, reactor-sockjs, since Burt has started some work
on Netty+Grails it might be interesting to provide an alternative to
atmosphere.

Stephane, what about Vertx and your grails plugin for it?
from reactor.
I guess this is close to #51 - we could dispatch events through vert.x. Bear in mind that Reactor is on par with Platform Core features, including the ability to change the underlying dispatching mech.
Although this will be less a priority for us compared to others backlog stories, contribution will be more than welcome thought :) We're currently aiming for M1 and we're stabilizing core to move forward on these extra requests.
