On a side note, there's something to keep in mind using Strings as selector material: any sender can send data to your consumers with a String. If you want only code that has a private reference to selector in a particular scope, then you probably want to use an Object:
Object write = new Object(){};
Selector writeSel = $(write);
reactor.on(writeSel, ...);
reactor.notify(write, ...);
This way only the code that has a reference to write
can send data to those consumers.
But that might not be what you want. After all, it would be super easy to create pub/sub by blasting data to every consumer of "write.topic". You get automatic multi-publish that way.
