Unfortunately the documentation is incorrect. newModifications
and oldModifications
were introduced in v2.8.1. The API documentation Realm.Results#addListener
is poorly formatted but accurate. We'll ask the docs team to update the documentation.

newModifications
is the list of indices in the current collection version, while oldModifications
are the indices of the objects in the old collection version. The difference is that the new version has insertions and deletions applied while the old version is showing the collection state prior to that.
