Make sure you are downloading the script and not the source for the webpage when you do a 'wget'.

I expect you've done this:
wget https://github.com/rebootuser/LinEnum/blob/master/LinEnum.sh
This will download a copy of the web-page's source code, not the source code of the script itself.

If you navigate to the file you wish to download insite the github repository, in the top right corner of the source code you will see a button that says "Raw", click on that button and it will take you to a page that has nothing but the source code of the file you were viewing; Using wget on this new web-page will work as you expected it to.

So, to get the source code of the LinEnum.sh file, you'd then be running this:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rebootuser/LinEnum/master/LinEnum.sh

I hope this helps anyone else who comes across this issue.
