How is your redis cluster setup? Can it handle insecure TLS connections? Usually hanging on connection happens when the TLS setup is different between the connection & the server.

By looking at the image repo using search Search Results, It seems like there is no tls support, Just a couple of PR's and an Issue.

Do you recommend not setting the tls option, even if its insecure in this case?

If there is no TLS support, you should not call the tls() method at all.
