And I'm still asking you to try the plug in and see if that resolves the issue. There is a very specific reason I am asking this. If you don't want to do it, then I cannot help you.

this error only occurs with version 4 and above

In plugin mode there is no problem but
in theme mode the admin css and js files don't work
from redux-framework-4.
