I resolved with this bad code temporary:

$whois = new Phois\Whois\Whois($domain);

$info = $whois->info();

if ($whois->isAvailable() AND strpos($info, 'No match for') !== 0) {
    echo "Domain is available\n";
} else {
    echo "Domain is registered\n";
