Another good site with an API is discogs.com

Would also love to see Discogs as an alternative. Musicbrainz lacks many, many electronic releases.

I agree that more sources would be better, but currently Headphones is literally built around the way Musicbrainz identifies and references music, so it would almost require a rewrite.
