Latest app engine default url requires version prefix

The dot url is routing to a specific version of your instance:

https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/python/how-requests-are-routed#default_routing

https://projectname.appspot.com should work as expected, mine is working:

https://mavenfoorepo.appspot.com/

I have multiple app engine projects working with the default URL, but for whatever reason, following the readme and the extra console create command, the default URL isn't routing to anything 🤔

All works well as long as I use the version prefix when defining repositories, made the issue just incase it's something Google app engine has changed and future users hit the same issue.
