@Admon85, no, looks like I found the root cause, finally. It is a server issue. I opened a bug in internal system, it should be fixed in the next release, if nothing happens.

As far as I see from the screenshot provided, someone "qa_user" changed status from SKIPPED to FAILED initially. Why do you think it was made "automatically"?
Maybe you have steps to reproduce to confirm the behavior you described?

We use "qa_user" credentials(access token) to perform our automated tests. qa user is not used by anyone to change defect type during report analysis.
I don't have steps to reproduce as it happens randomly.
Does it mean that the client library is changing a test defect type somehow?
