We don't currently have a way to do it. @Tryneus did we add a current_user call or anything?
from horizon-docs.
Maybe I misunderstand how the auth API is intended to be used. Is there another way of making use of the currently authenticated user? Otherwise this sounds like something we critically need to add for making it useful.

Currently the auth api is unuseable. We have one proposal for interacting with users PR #151 Which doesn't have a way of getting current user info. Marc has had to implement some parts of this as part of permissions, but I don't know if we have anything like currentUser
Permissions requires keeping the current user information around to do checks, so it should be possible to implement it pretty quickly
