No, as long as specified with a single directory name. What doesn't work is when, say, the left input is c("file1", "file2"). That said there aren't any automated tests with equijoin as part of a larger computation, but looking at the code the multi-part input is specifically taken care of. Please let me know if your results are not what you expect or if you get any errors.

I was able to call multiple files present in a directory, I was worried reading that line cause I had to implement it a little down the line. Checked it now, it works.
