👍 I think that the biggest task yet is getting source lines in error messages.

@conradz that would be cool, but another problem (there's an issue in rework) is that people might want to format the errors themselves. you know... with colors and different formatting and stuff, or format the error message based on the error type or something. i think the conclusion was to pass the source string + positions and let an error handler print out the error however they'd like via try/catch. last thing we want is people complaining that the error messages aren't to their personal liking.

the source map / parent node work is holding up the release at this point. sorry to press this but i'm currently blocked on a new release of 'css'. can we make a decision about patches we absolutely need before the next release? we can always release new features or improvements in minor releases.
