Maven errors on AMI baking

This is expected. The main idea for that maven install line was to download a version of the internet once with a default maven command, followed by the cassandra maven build command.

It was only meant to shave seconds off future maven installs, if some of the packages weren't updated between bake and instantiation time.

ah, should I add a pull request for a comment there and log message that explains it? it made me nervous while trying to debug something
