I don't have enough time now. I'll check in more details later. But I think, this may have been already resolved. You are using old version (v2.1.0-beta3). Pls try with the last tag "v2.1.0-beta4g"

E.g. the QMAKE_RPATHDIR" is not anymore part of the project (it is expected to come from outside of the project).
Also see end of this issue: #20 for explanation.

But the solution with "html-tidy" is not yet the final one. I plan to improve.

I couldn't find any directory called libs.

If it's related to tidy, perhaps install it and specify the expected installed location instead.

Any reason it's not /usr/lib/nixnote2/tidy?

From the above, I'm also getting hunspell flagged as a dependency.

It wasn't flagged as being a required dependency in beta-3.

I note also:

Spellchecking completely refactored and improved. The spell checker is now embedded (not a plugin).

libhunspell-1.6.so.0

Can you confirm that the external dependency on hunspell is new between beta-3 and beta4g?

"../libs/lib" its coming outside of the project. So it must be in your config.

But in your packaging, you can already today to it like this. the path to tidy is given a param to he build script. So you can do a packaging already today with tidy in "/usr/lib/nixnote2/tidy"

so I verified: there is no relative path in the binaryx (except you feed it to the project from outside)
