TXT_RPG is a text-based role-playing game where players can battle different enemies, interact with and use items in the item shop, and defeat enemies to progress in the story.
To install the game, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/username/TXT_RPG.git - Navigate to the project directory:
cd TXT_RPG - Install the required dependencies: python3, pygame
To start the game, run the following command: python3 main.py
Simple turn based combat. Each round you choose to attack or use an item.
If you defeat an enemy you gain their weapon and you have the option to sell it to the item shop to gain gold. Use gold to buy potions.
Defeat each enemy, each more powerful than the last, to complete the game.
- Save/Load feature.
- Leveling system so you have to grind xp to get to the next set of enemies.
- Randomize enemy health, weapons to make unique play through.
- Add weapons to the item shop instead of getting them from slain enemies.
- Get gold from enemies instead of their weapon.
- Introduce random events or encounters that add unpredictability to the game.
