The behaviour of the tabs is a bit inconvenient (like selecting the
"Recordings"-Tab open a whole new activity).

Moving the Tabs "Channels", "Recordings", "Program Guide" and "Status"
into a navigation drawer would make much more sense with respect to the
design guidlines.

Apart from that I'm very happy with this app :)

This will be available in the new version 1.5.0. It makes a lot of stuff easier to implement and also allows better flexibility and room for more improvements. :-)
