We'll start proof-of-concepting sometime next week. - as seen in our public sprint plan: akka/akka-meta#36
from rsocket-java.
I'd love to be involved Konrad, turns out we'd really need these two stacks working together :-)

The http://gitter.im/akka/dev chat and mailing list ahttps://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/akka-useas well as that sprint plan are the places to voice that, let us know what you're looking for and what you could contribute perhaps etc. Talk to you there!

Great to hear you are bringing things back into the open, I've been continually testing the cpp impl against the java, so I'm very keen for this to remain as open as possible.

Very glad to see this Nitesh, thanks!
The branching plans sound good as well, thanks for being clear about them.
Like I said, we have around 3 dedicated weeks to work on this relatively soon, will keep in touch!
Timing seems to align very well.

@yschimke 🎉 Your reviews were much appreciated so we are glad to be back (soon)!

I wanted to start tinkering on this during my evenings - any status when you'd be able to move back the code here?
(Reason I'm asking is because current master seems to have trouble compiling:)

@ktoso I am hoping to push the code to a branch this week, we may not release an artifact immediately, though.

Great, thanks in advance!
No release is not an issue, I'm happy to work on a local snapshot – want to get a better feel for it before we dive into it as a team initiative in the coming weeks 👍

@ktoso Changes have been pushed to branch 0.5.x, just in time for your weekend hacking 😄
from rsocket-java.
Excellent, and I have an almost free weekend too this time - will dig into it. Thanks! 👍

@ktoso are you aware of any plans yet to create an adaptation layer for seamless integration with Akka-Streams?
