I've had this error when I ran multiple instances of the software. Not sure if this is happening with you are of something else causing it, but I'll look into it.
I have intrusion detection events running fine on my system (shows as fielddetection). The one issue that I have had on my system though, is that any event from camera one does not register as an event that can be read. It will send Emails, etc, but no readable event by the software. This is with any camera that I have placed into the 1 position.

It's possible I have more than one instance running, I'll look into that later. Interesting you are having problems with the camera in position 1. I haven't seen that problem yet. I do see the fielddetection alerts in Smartthings and in the eventserver logs just not as frequently as I see them recorded on the Hik-Connect mobile app.

Is there a way to read the output from the NVR? I haven't been able to figure out how to see what it's sending from the NVR. I have CLI access on the NVR but can't find any documentation on how to access the events or get them to show up in the terminal. Thanks for responding.

To see events I've used the hikvision Windows software and attempt to match it to what I receive with my python/ST software. I've never attempted to access the nvr directly via a terminal
