👋 Hi, I’m @rtulip

I'm a fresh grad from the University of Victoria, who studied Software Engineering. I've been worked primarially on firmware and embedded systems for companies like Ecoation Innovative Solutions, BRNKL, and Rostrum Medical Innovations. I primarially work in C/C++, but love to pull out Rust when I can.

Currently I'm looking for work while experimenting with building a compiler for a custom programmig language: haystack. Haystack is the next iteration on my previous experiment tlp, and aims to make working in the language a lot easier by introducing variables.

I've always been interested in understanding how low-level systems work and how to build them. Here's some of my cooler projects I've worked on:
